Endoscopy
Endoscopy allows us to visualize the upper respiratory tract of horses including the larynx and pharynx. The guttural pouches can also be examined using this technique. An endoscopic examination can assist with generating a diagnosis in cases of respiratory noise, exercise intolerance, nasal discharge, and difficulty eating or swallowing.
